ッド・シェリー
Todd Sherry Sensei joined the Okinawan Karate Club of Dallas, along with his son Cale in 1995. Todd was exposed to karate in his teens, when he trained in Shito-Ryu Karate at the Dallas Naval Air Station under Sensei Fred Givens.
He earned his Shodan (1st dan) in 1999 in both Shorin Ryu Karatedo and Shudokan Karatedo and currently holds the rank of Rokudan (6th dan). He received one of the last Shodan certificates under the late Shibucho Walter Todd. Todd’s son Cale is a Shodan at OKCD.
Todd enjoys karate as a source of personal energy and balance in his life. He instructs the advanced youth karate classes where he enjoys seeing the growth of body, mind, and spirit within his students.
Todd is an Aircraft Maintenance Manager for Cook Canyon Ranch Aviation. He and his wife Christine live in Quinlan, Texas.
