Workshop by
Anne McCabe-Nepsky
from Flagstaff, Arizona. Champion
martial artist in kata and kumite. The workshop will entail improving your
kata and sparring.

Details to come.
What her student wrote about her:
"Anne
Nepsky (1957-Present) Sensei Anne Nepsky began her training as a young girl in
the streets of Phoenix, AZ. As the story goes, she would often walk by Master
Conner’s dojo and thought it would be a great place to do some push ups and sit
ups. For her sixteenth birthday, her mother got Anne her first five
introductory lessons. Anne was hooked; and to this day her mother says it was
"the best thirty-five bucks I ever invested!" After starting her training it
was not uncommon to see Anne walking up and down the street sidewalks practicing
her kicks and blocks. It was this commitment and enthusiasm that lead her to
become one of the most proficient female martial artists in the world.
Anne would go on to become
one of the most successful women on the competition circuit. She has won
numerous National and World titles in Kata, Weapons and Fighting divisions. The
fighting divisions was
where
she is most feared.
Tom Conner’s boxing style was passed on to Anne giving her both speed and
tremendous strength with her hand movements.
What
Anne is truly best at is her teaching. She has been a teacher in one form or
another her entire life. She spent several years teaching high school Spanish
and coaching basketball and volleyball. She is fluent in the Spanish language,
which she has also taught to many children and adults. Of course, she has been
teaching Karate for almost 30 years. She currently is teaching Karate in
Flagstaff, AZ."
